The education that I have received at Berean Academy has extended and stretched me to explore areas of thought that are rarely examined in traditional high schools.
Classical Christian education has also taught me to view all learning in relation to God, who is the center and source of all our experience. It has freed me to engage the world without paradox or irrationality. My education at Berean has shown me the true breadth and width of all the knowledge God has given us and has taught me the necessity of communicating that knowledge to others.

Vicki and I began our search for a new school in the spring of 2004.
We were looking for a strong academic environment for our children, as well as a place where Biblical principals permeated the entire educational process. A number of our friends were at Berean Academy and shared information about the school with us. Our first reaction reading about Classical and Christian Education and how it was (and still is) implemented at Berean was that when it comes to Christian worldview education, "these peope get it!" Over the years at Berean Academy that has certainly proven to be true.

We are now in our fifth year as a Berean family and have never been happier with the school.
Our children are flourishing under the wise guidance of the Berean Academy faculty and staff. Vicki and I, under God’s leadership, have come to the conclusion that Berean Academy has grown into a strong and steady institution. Berean is our school – a school where we are proud to take ownership by volunteering our time, talent, and resources. We would encourage every Christian family to consider Berean Academy for their children - just be ready to be pushed to a higher level in your Christian walk as a parent!
Academic excellence in the context of a sound Christian worldview is the hallmark of a Berean education. We are very pleased to have Berean Academy as an integral part of life’s journey for our entire family.

Presently, we find ourselves living and working in Rome Italy where we are surrounded by the ongoing process of restoring glorious ruins.
It is a great reminder of the state of our children, who in all their glory are much like these ruins; revered because of their Maker, but having lost their original beauty. Education is the process by which this glorious ruin, man, is being restored to the very image of God. This education is indeed what our family has experienced at Berean Academy these past 9 years. As a former teacher and parent at Berean, I can say it has been a pleasure to journey alongside like-minded families, under the influence of caring and gifted teachers and staff and served by an attentive and sacrificial board. We have left the Berean community different than we came. God has used Berean in the process of restoring this grateful family to its Maker and better equipping us be a relevant witness in this world. While we greatly miss Berean Academy, its influence continues on amid these glorious ruins and those they touch both in Tampa and beyond.

Thank you so much for giving me the honor of teaching His students at Berean Academy. I have not met students like yours in my entire life!
I was very impressed by the seriousness of the students, and their brilliant minds. You are doing something great for the Kingdom of our triune God, training these young men and women to think and act bibically. These young Bereans will lead the church of Christ and our nation to do the will of the Father. I appeal to Bible believing parents in the Tampa area to send their covenant children to Berean Academy to learn how to think critically and demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, as they take captive every thought captive for Christ (2 Corninthians 10:5). My prayer is that the LORD continues to richly bless your labour of love and your great caring faculty and staff as you prepare your students to give the reason for the hope that they have with gentleness and respect to every one who asks.

My husband and I prayed from the start that when it was time to send James to school, God would lead us to the right place.
I called Berean Academy for information and attended an open house. My time with the parents and students proved very informative. I returned home, read the information packet, and knew this was the school for our family. My mother’s first comment after reading the packet was, “I guess you don’t need to look at any other schools. This sounds exactly like what you have been looking for.” My husband agreed. Berean has the academic and spiritual values we prayed for. The teachers and staff are excellent. We are so happy to be part of the Berean family!

Enrolling our daughter in Berean Academy was an easy decision for us.
Our older two children had attended several different kinds of schools in our community, but the classical method along with the biblical integration at Berean has been the most fruitful both educationally and spiritually. We are particularly pleased with how she has learned to think through and discern core issues. Because of this we are confident that she is being prepared to go on to college next year and interact clearly and biblically with others. We attribute much of this to the opportunities she has had to learn from unique interaction with her teachers through discussion and Q&A in the upper school, preparing her to think, speak and write clearly.

Kristi and I often reflect on how thankful we are that our children are hearing the same message at Berean Academy that they are hearing at home and in our church.
It is our privilege to respond to God’s kindness in establishing and prospering Berean Academy by supporting the school with gifts. Our prayer is that God would bless all of the gifts of time, talents and money that Berean Academy receives to a generation of children reflecting Christ in whatever vocation He has prepared for them.

One of our sons is in his fourth year – currently in Fourth Grade - at Berean Academy and the other his second – First Grade - and each has responded in the most encouraging fashion.
We are thrilled at our boys’ appropriate exposure to the classics as well as the basic modern academic essentials. The fact that all subjects are framed at all times by the spiritual truth of our creation being consciously generated and ruled by the LORD of Lords ensures the perspective we strongly desire for our children. Further, each boy, while free to express his own personality, has rapidly developed outstanding capabilities contained in the curriculum with reading being the highlight so far – our older son has routinely sat down and polished off whole books in a day or two which were challenging for us even as teenagers! Like many boys, ours are sports lovers and enjoy their activities both at school and at club environments but we are surprised almost on a daily basis at their passion for reading and their corresponding vocabulary and comprehension. Coupling such developing skills with a spiritual world view manifesting in respect for elders, submission to Law and love for their fellow man is just the combination we were looking for.
